PWA will now be Sharing Recent Events and Development in the Petanque Community in Western Australia
The PWA committee is pleased to announce that Eric Carbonell has been appointed to the PFA board of directors, and the association wishes him luck in his new position. Eric has stepped down as the VP of PWA but will continue to serve as La Maison De France's club rep on the committee.
PWA is extending the period of expressions of interest for its interstate team to participate in the upcoming competition in Newcastle until May 28th. Eric will run some sessions for interested parties, and the selected team will be finalized by the end of June. PWA will provide financial assistance for the team, and players may also seek assistance from their local club and shire. The association urges players to take this opportunity to represent their state.

PWA held its State Veteran Triples competition, where we saw the following results:

From these Veteran competitions PWA is pleased to announce Anton Wieland and Sue Dauth were named the State Champions for the Veterans division.
In the open division, PWA hosted club-based competitions that welcomed new players.

In the Junior division, Reece Leggo won first place.
In March, PWA held the State Triples competition, where Vickram Ramjuttun, Nuvish Atchamah, and Vick Ramroop won the men's division, and, Hina Vert, Valerie Gridley, and Khrishika Ramjuttun won the women's division.
