At its last meeting, the PFA Board decided it was important and timely to undertake a Strategic Planning and restructuring exercise. The plan would take place in the context of an analysis of the current situation of petanque in Australia; its vision and goals; the input of members via the three surveys undertaken by PFA over the past year; and, looking and including ways to promote and raise the profile of the game.
The idea of hiring a consultant to undertake this project has been discussed for some time. Victoria O’Connor has been engaged to undertake this process and has offered to do this on a pro bono basis. She will undertake research, look at data, consult with members and present options to the Board for consideration before compiling the final plan.
She will need assistance with information gathering, so we ask Members to please give Victoria friendly cooperation should she approach you for information.
