New Chair of the Coaches Commission
Petanque Australia is pleased to announce that Michael Lacase has been appointed Chair of the Coaching Commission.
Michael has over 20 years of petanque experience and has represented Australia at many international events, including three world championships. He has been a coach for 5+ years, and in addition to coaching Petanque, he also coaches junior soccer After two great years, 2023 and 2024, he has been appointed head coach of the 2025 U12 elite squad for the Casey Panthers Soccer Club.
Michael is a member of the St Kilda Petanque Club and is married to a former Petanque Australia representative, Julie, and they have two young children.
